Profile Photos & Facial Recognition Data

What we collect: Profile photos captured through your device camera, along with facial recognition data used for attendance tracking.

How we store it: Images are securely stored on ImageKit's cloud infrastructure with enterprise-grade security. Facial data is processed and stored in our secure backend servers.

Why we collect it: To enable automated attendance marking, display your profile within the app, and facilitate student/volunteer identification.

Your control: You can update or delete your profile photo anytime through the app settings. When you delete a photo, it is permanently removed from ImageKit servers within 24 hours.

Google Account Information

What we collect: Your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account when you sign in using Google Sign-In.

Why we collect it: For secure authentication and to create your user profile in the app.

How we use it: This information is used solely for account verification and login purposes. We do not access any other Google account data.

Third-party service: Google Sign-In is provided by Google LLC and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Device & Technical Information

What we collect:

  • Device model, manufacturer, and operating system version
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token for push notifications
  • App version and build information
  • Crash logs and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics)

Why we collect it: To send you important notifications about attendance, events, and updates; to diagnose and fix technical issues; and to improve app performance.

Note: We do not track your location or access any personal files on your device.

Personal & Registration Information

What we collect:

  • Full name, date of birth, gender
  • Contact information (phone number, email, address)
  • Educational details (roll number, batch, branch, year of study, college)
  • Parent/guardian information (for students)
  • Village and group assignments

Why we collect it: To maintain accurate records, facilitate communication, organize groups and batches, and generate attendance reports.

How long we keep it: Your registration data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal information is permanently removed from our servers.

Attendance Records

What we collect: Date, time, and location of attendance marking; associated photos from attendance sessions.

Why we collect it: To maintain accurate attendance records, generate reports, and provide historical data for analysis.

Retention period: Attendance records are retained for administrative and reporting purposes. When you delete your account, all associated attendance data is permanently deleted.

Draft Data

What we collect: Form data that you haven't submitted yet (stored locally on your device using DataStore preferences).

Why we collect it: To allow you to continue where you left off if you exit a registration form before completing it.

Storage: Draft data is stored locally on your device and is automatically deleted once you successfully submit the form.

You can control: You can disable notifications anytime through app settings or device settings.

Important: All permissions are requested only when needed and with clear context. You can manage permissions through your device settings at any time. Denying permissions may limit some app functionality.
